Graduate Data Analytics Overview

Join BAE Systems as a Graduate in the Data Analytics team, where you will contribute to the governance and strategic use of data across the organization. This role is based in either Frimley (Surrey) or Preston (Lancashire) and offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, along with a £2,000 welcome bonus. You will be expected to work on-site 3-4 days a week as part of a hybrid working arrangement.

Core Responsibilities

• Support in defining and advocating for a vision that promotes the use of data, analytics, and AI across the company.
• Lead and coordinate activities to ensure data security, standardization, and fitness for purpose.
• Establish patterns for data capture and management to ensure it is ready for exploitation.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for increased analytics and AI use.
• Enhance the data skills and knowledge of employees to boost their confidence in utilizing data, analytics, and AI.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must have obtained or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Software & Systems Engineering, or Data Science.
