Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Graduate Data Scientist to join our Cyber Analytics team within the Threat Research Lab. This role involves developing and deploying models and solutions to identify and counter cyber threats in our target markets and products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in programming and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze threat data to uncover patterns and generate actionable insights for threat detection.
• Design and implement technical solutions aimed at detecting cyber threats effectively.
• Innovate by creating extensions to existing detection paradigms, ensuring comprehensive threat coverage from start to finish.
• Review, understand, and reverse engineer phishing attacks and related technologies to improve detection methods.
• Develop detection algorithms using programming languages such as Python and C#, focusing on identifying phishing emails and malicious communications.
• Extract features from attack data to enhance detection accuracy.
• Study human behavioral patterns and communication methods exploited by attackers, integrating this knowledge into detection models.
• Apply machine learning techniques to identify broader phishing trends and develop protective measures against evolving threats.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelorâ??s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Physics.
• Strong experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation tasks.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or C#, with a track record of writing clean, efficient code.
• Knowledge of standard machine learning algorithms, including linear and logistic regression, decision trees, and random forests.
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
• Creative and analytical thinking skills, capable of developing innovative solutions by thinking maliciously or outside the box.

Work Arrangement
