We are excited to announce the opening of applications for our Graduate Electrical Engineer position as part of the 2027 Development Programme, starting in September 2027. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience over two years, supported by structured learning and mentorship from experienced professionals who are invested in your growth. This position is situated within our Infrastructure operating unit, specifically supporting our water industry team in collaboration with Anglian Water. You will be involved in delivering electrical systems for treatment plants, pumping stations, control systems, and smart water networks across East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of electrical systems, focusing on power distribution, automation, and instrumentation.
• Help specify and select appropriate electrical equipment for projects.
• Collaborate closely with civil, mechanical, and process engineering teams to ensure project success.
• Conduct site surveys, commissioning, and technical inspections as required.
• Support the preparation of documentation, reports, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with contractors, clients such as Anglian Water, and supply chain partners throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Qualifications:

• Must be a final-year student or a recent graduate with a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (BEng or MEng).
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Strong inclination towards innovation and positive societal impact, evidenced by teamwork and proactive problem-solving.
• A commitment to personal and professional development as an enthusiastic learner.
• Possession of a driving license or willingness to obtain one within the first year of employment, as site visits across the UK, particularly in East Anglia, are required.
