Graduate Maintenance Overview

As a Graduate Maintenance Engineer at BAE Systems, you will be part of a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation, where your role will focus on ensuring the safety and airworthiness of military aircraft. This position is based in Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire, and involves attending customer locations and collaborating with various aircraft maintenance organizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Compiling and presenting aircraft status reports.
• Monitoring the operational performance of aircraft.
• Planning and communicating management strategies for aircraft and component maintenance.
• Conducting ad hoc performance studies on aircraft and components.
• Reviewing current operational practices to identify improvement opportunities, particularly with emerging technologies.
• Participating actively in team discussions from both technical and behavioral perspectives.

To qualify for this role, you must have obtained or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a Masterâ??s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. The start date for this position is July 5, 2027, and it offers a permanent contract.
