Graduate Security Consultant Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Interpret, implement, and monitor security controls to ensure the protection of classified assets on site.
• Provide security advice to employees, assist in threat mitigation, and conduct threat and risk assessments as needed.
• Support the delivery of security services for the F-35 and Typhoon programmes, ensuring compliance with relevant security requirements.
• Promote security awareness and best practices across programme teams, and assist in investigating security incidents.
• Maintain business continuity and operational resilience documentation, including records, reporting, and resilience assessments.
• Assist in resilience exercises, tests, workshops, and track resulting actions.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must have obtained or be predicted to obtain a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a pass at Masterâ??s level in relevant subjects such as Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.

Additional Information

All applicants must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, which typically necessitates 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK for meaningful security vetting checks.
