Graduate Systems Engineer Overview

As a Graduate Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will embark on a career that offers both purpose and limitless possibilities. This role is based in Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire, and involves a combination of on-site and flexible working arrangements, with an expectation to attend the site 3-5 days per week.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing requirements, developing system specifications, conducting research and design, engaging in systems modeling and integration, overseeing qualification and certification processes, and providing product support. You will be involved in critical projects that serve both national and international customers, working on advanced products such as the Typhoon and Future Combat Air System.

To qualify for this position, you must have, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a Masterâ??s degree in relevant fields such as Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace, Technology, Systems, or Engineering. Additionally, you should be prepared for potential business travel and must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard, with many roles requiring higher levels of National Security Vetting.
