As a Graduate Test Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will be integral to the development and maintenance of software that supports automated test systems. This role involves integrating software, hardware, and test equipment to ensure reliable testing solutions while also troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop software using LabVIEW, TestStand, and internal engineering tools.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of test system hardware and software.
  • Integrate and verify test systems for both development and production environments.
  • Analyze and resolve faults in software, hardware, and test systems.
  • Create technical documentation and assist in developing test procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced engineers across software, systems, and hardware disciplines.

The Electronic Systems Team has been delivering leading controls and display solutions for over 70 years, working on advanced electronic technologies such as the Striker II Helmet and flight control computers.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have obtained or be predicted to obtain a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a pass at Masterâ??s level in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
