As the Senior Regional Channel Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Verkada’s regional channel business. This leadership position involves managing a high-performing team of Regional Channel Sales Managers (CSMs) and driving consistent performance through strategic partner engagement and strong executive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8 Regional Channel Sales Managers (CSMs) in achieving individual and team quotas.
- Define, execute, and evolve the Verkada UKI Channel Strategy in alignment with sales objectives.
- Mentor and develop team members, including recruiting, hiring, and coaching new CSMs.
- Set clear expectations and execution plans for CSMs to achieve pipeline creation targets.
- Conduct weekly forecast meetings with CSMs to assess Channel Sourced opportunities.
- Collaborate with UK Sales Leadership to ensure forecast accuracy and address deal closure obstacles.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with key UK partners.
- Represent Verkada within the EMEA Leadership team and the broader UK Channel marketplace.
- Manage Channel and Marketing investment budgets to drive growth.
- Monitor team sales activities and track performance results.
- Assist CSMs in closing complex transactions through executive-level relationships.
- Oversee daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results.
- Coordinate and lead regular pipeline reviews, meetings, and training sessions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in leading a high-performing Channel team.
- Experience with Security Integrators and IT VAR reseller partners, with established executive-level relationships.
- Proven ability to manage Channel investment budgets effectively.
- Successful track record in a high-volume transaction Channel Sales environment.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying new Channel strategies.
- Excellent presentation and listening skills, with strong executive presence.
- Proven ability to hire and develop new CSMs and coach underperformers.
- Ability to grow channel-sourced business through effective partner enablement plans.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the UK.
