Capgemini Invent is seeking an experienced HR Payroll Transformation Managing Consultant to lead and deliver complex payroll transformation projects for diverse clients. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, innovative team that values creativity, technology, and strategic thinking. As a key member of the team, you will manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within scope, and adhere to budget constraints.
Your responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor, and facilitating workshops and training sessions to support project activities. You will support process reengineering and change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of payroll solutions. Providing strategic guidance and technical expertise in payroll systemsâ??particularly those enabled by cloud technologies such as SAP, Workday, or Oracleâ??is essential.
You will also contribute to the design of innovative tools leveraging AI, RPA, and machine learning, and will mentor junior team members to foster their professional development. Staying current with industry trends and best practices is vital to continuously improve service offerings. Additionally, you will participate in business development activities, including preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and developing new propositions. Internal contributions such as whitepapers, practice development, and thought leadership are also part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading HR and payroll transformation projects, especially those involving cloud platforms. You should have a proven ability to manage projects through all phases, from discovery to hypercare, and possess excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance is required, along with experience working in consulting or industry environments within a matrixed organization.
