Lenovo is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Deployment Services Technical Consultant to join their team and contribute to the delivery of large-scale AI and High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure solutions for prominent organizations worldwide. This role involves supporting complex deployments such as liquid-cooled GPU clusters, accelerated computing environments, and AI-ready data center platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and global project teams across the EMEA region and beyond, ensuring the seamless integration and operation of advanced infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of enterprise-level HPC and AI infrastructure solutions.
• Manage the entire technology stack, including data center hardware, networking, storage, Kubernetes platforms, and GPU environments.
• Oversee the integration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of complex HPC and AI systems to guarantee successful deployment outcomes.
• Implement and optimize AI orchestration tools, MLOps platforms, GPU resource management, and AI/ML workloads in production environments.
• Collaborate with clients, technology partners, and internal teams throughout all project phases, from installation to operational handover.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve deployment challenges and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Support operational readiness activities, ensuring solutions are stable, scalable, and ready for daily use.
• Create detailed technical documentation, training materials, and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives while staying updated on emerging HPC and AI technologies.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience managing Linux environments such as RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or SLES, especially in enterprise HPC and AI contexts.
• Extensive background in deploying and supporting HPC and AI clusters from initial setup through to production readiness.
• Deep understanding of NVIDIA AI platforms, GPU architectures, NVLink, NVSwitch, GPU clustering, and resource management.
• Hands-on experience with high-performance networking technologies including InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCEv2, and fabric management tools.
• Strong familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift, as well as AI/ML tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, and JupyterHub.
• Experience with workload scheduling tools like Slurm and PBS Pro, and deploying high-performance storage solutions like GPFS, VAST Data, and DDN.
• Knowledge of cluster provisioning, validation, benchmarking, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Icinga, and NVIDIA DCGM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, and automation tools like Ansible, along with version control using Git.
• Excellent troubleshooting, customer communication, documentation, and workshop delivery skills.
• Relevant certifications in NVIDIA, Kubernetes, Red Hat, or AI infrastructure technologies are preferred.

The salary range for Slovakia is approximately â?¬3,058 to â?¬4,483 per month, plus a variable component of 12% of annual earnings, depending on experience and skills.
