During the internship, participants will contribute to meaningful projects and gain exposure to real-world business challenges. Depending on the chosen pathway, responsibilities may include supporting service delivery, project management, business operations, customer experience initiatives, or software engineering activities. Interns might work on client-focused projects, assist in improving services, or help deliver innovative technological solutions. Interns will work within multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, supporting project and service delivery, participating in planning and continuous improvement efforts, and analyzing data to inform decision-making. Pre-employment checks and location specifics
Candidates will undergo several pre-employment checks, including identity verification, nationality or immigration status, employment history over the past three years, and a criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service). The role is exclusively based in Telford, and interns are expected to be within commuting distance to the office, working approximately three days per week onsite. Other roles at different locations may offer more flexible arrangements, but this specific internship is limited to Telford.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be enrolled in the second year of a Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s degree program.
- Intend to return to university after completing the internship.
- Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Internship pathways and roles
- Service Analyst Intern: Support live service delivery, monitor performance, engage stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement.
- Business Operations Intern: Gain experience in governance, reporting, financial management, resource planning, and operational processes.
- PMO Intern: Assist project teams with planning, reporting, governance, risk management, and project execution activities.
- Customer Experience Intern: Focus on understanding user needs, improving customer journeys, and enhancing service quality (details to be confirmed).
- Software Engineering Intern: Support software development, testing, and maintenance activities, learning modern engineering practices and emerging technologies.
