Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Engineer to join their team, focusing on designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems suitable for enterprise deployment. The role involves bridging the gap between AI prototypes and fully integrated business solutions, ensuring responsible scaling and deployment that delivers real business value.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive end-to-end AI/ML systems, including data preparation, model development, deployment, feature store management, and continuous monitoring. They will utilize the latest Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks such as ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex to develop innovative solutions.

A key part of the role involves translating business needs into scalable data and AI architectures across cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, and AWS. Leading cross-disciplinary teams to execute complex projects, the engineer will design and implement Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and large language model orchestration.

Embedding safety, ethical considerations, and explainability into AI solutions is essential, along with collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to maximize business impact. The role also includes contributing to business development through client demos, proposals, and showcasing best practices, as well as developing reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery and internal capability growth.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in consulting or industry, with a proven track record in designing and delivering AI solutions at scale. Deep knowledge of Generative AI, cloud-native architectures, and MLOps strategies is required. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, AI frameworks, CI/CD, and containerization tools is essential. Familiarity with AI evaluation methods, modern data architectures, and system integration patterns is a plus.
