Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the health and support of large-scale production systems spanning cloud and physical data centers.
  • Manage AWS resources and services, ensuring they meet security standards, are highly available, and operate efficiently.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, OS, and application issues of moderate to high complexity.
  • Administer enterprise services including Windows Server, Linux distributions such as RHEL, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and FTP.
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvements, implementing changes to enhance system stability and performance.
  • Support infrastructure lifecycle activities like server provisioning, patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and resource management.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, communicating incident details and resolutions to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Perform physical data center tasks such as cabling, hardware maintenance, and vendor coordination for hardware replacements.
  • Manage user access and identity management through AWS IAM and other enterprise platforms.
  • Follow NICEĂ¢??s operational standards, security policies, and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Candidate Requirements

  • BachelorĂ¢??s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of five years supporting large-scale production infrastructure environments.
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server administration in enterprise settings.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining server hardware and operating systems.
  • Strong skills in managing and securing Linux servers, including RHEL, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux.
  • Proficiency in patching and maintaining Windows and Linux OS.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory, Windows Domains, and DNS services.
  • Experience working within structured change management processes.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting PCI-DSS and Cyber Essentials compliant environments.
  • Knowledge of AWS EKS and ECS container platforms.
  • Experience with relational databases and infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with SAN and NAS storage technologies.
  • Experience working with Okta identity management solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate hardware replacements and vendor-managed infrastructure activities.
  • Experience administering Cisco UCS environments.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining enterprise AWS environments.
  • Strong scripting skills, especially with PowerShell and other automation languages.
