We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electronics Engineer to join an innovative technology company based in Hampshire, England, specializing in the development of advanced sensing and instrumentation products. This role involves leading the design, architecture, and development of complex electronic systems, including analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuits. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping future product lines while providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a wide range of electronic systems, encompassing analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Establish hardware architectures and create strategic technical roadmaps to guide new product development efforts.
  • Manage projects from initial concept through to mass production, ensuring seamless transition to manufacturing and ongoing support.
  • Lead design reviews, offer technical guidance, and mentor engineering team members to foster technical excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineers to ensure integrated and efficient product development.
  • Support testing, validation, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance, and product qualification activities to meet industry standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Have substantial experience in analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
  • Experience managing the entire lifecycle of electronic products, from concept to production and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design, embedded systems, and hardware integration techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering staff effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
