As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Fiber Design Engineering for the APAC and EMEA regions at Google, you will play a crucial role in managing complex engineering projects that span across multiple disciplines. Your expertise will be essential in overseeing the technical aspects of fiber design and capacity planning in data centers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical evaluation of electrical and mechanical designs for network spaces in Google-owned facilities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members across the globe.
• Manage the allocation of rack space and power capacity, along with associated reporting.
• Establish standards and global design protocols for Google-owned spaces.
• Supervise overall project reporting and resource planning for the team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Possession of RCDD or similar industry certifications.
• At least 8 years of experience in fiber construction, installation, and testing.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing teams.
• Experience in leading cross-functional reporting and insights related to capacity management.
