Solve Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled Patent Litigation Specialist to lead and expand their patent litigation capabilities as part of their innovative legal technology platform, Charts. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented legal professional with a technical background to influence how patent disputes are managed within a rapidly growing AI company. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting infringement and validity analyses across various technical domains, advising clients on litigation risks, and developing strategic recommendations based on platform insights. They will work closely with engineering and AI teams to shape litigation workflows and support the transition from patent prosecution to litigation phases, ensuring a seamless process throughout the patent lifecycle. Additionally, the role involves translating litigation expertise into new product features to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling complex patent disputes, gained through roles at top-tier litigation firms as an associate or senior associate. A minimum of three years of experience in patent litigation is required, with a background as a patent attorney who has transitioned into litigation being highly desirable. Candidates should possess a strong technical foundation in fields such as life sciences, electronics, or mechanical engineering. The role demands a highly intelligent, diligent, and proactive individual who excels in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Prior experience at elite patent litigation firms like Quinn Emanuel, Kirkland & Ellis, or similar is preferred. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with the ability to deconstruct complex technical and legal issues. Candidates must be based in either London or New York City.
