Legal Counsel Overview

Ravio is seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Counsel to join their team. This role involves providing expert legal advice across various aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of legal documents, including contracts and corporate policies, to safeguard the company’s interests.

In addition to transactional work, the Legal Counsel will assist in managing legal risks associated with business activities, support compliance initiatives, and stay current with legal developments affecting the organization. Collaboration with external legal advisors may be required to ensure consistent legal standards and effective risk management.

The role also involves participating in corporate governance activities, such as preparing for board meetings and handling regulatory filings, as well as contributing to internal legal training programs to promote awareness and adherence to legal standards among staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified lawyer with a degree in law and membership in the relevant legal regulatory body.
• Experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably within a corporate environment or a fast-moving industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to produce clear, precise legal documentation.
• Deep understanding of applicable legal principles, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to communicate complex legal issues effectively to non-legal colleagues.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently and accurately.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
