Capgemini is seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of Manager or Senior Manager specializing in Smart Plant, Aerospace, and Defence manufacturing. This position involves leading large-scale transformation programs that leverage Industry 4.0 and digital operations to revolutionize manufacturing processes within top aerospace and defense companies.

As a key member of the team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including Manufacturing Directors, Operations Leaders, Supply Chain Executives, and Digital Transformation heads. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing manufacturing transformation strategies aimed at increasing production capacity, operational excellence, supply chain resilience, quality, and overall industrial performance.

You will conduct assessments of manufacturing maturity, identify opportunities for value creation, and develop strategic roadmaps, operating models, and business cases that secure executive support and funding. Leading multidisciplinary teams across strategy, engineering, data science, AI, cloud, and technology domains, you will oversee the deployment of Industry 4.0 solutions such as MES, Industrial IoT, AI analytics, digital work instructions, and digital twin technologies.

In addition, you will contribute to Capgeminiâ??s offerings related to Physical and Agentic AI in manufacturing contexts, ensuring that transformation initiatives deliver measurable operational and financial benefits. Coaching and mentoring team members, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to market-facing propositions and thought leadership are also integral parts of this role.

Candidates should have significant experience leading manufacturing or supply chain transformations within the aerospace and defense sectors, with deep expertise in discrete manufacturing operations and Industry 4.0 technologies. Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively within complex, matrixed organizations are essential. Eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required.
