Join Capgemini Invent as a Managing Consultant / Senior Manager in the Energy Transition & Utilities practice, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative consulting and transformation services tailored to the energy sector. This position is designed for individuals with extensive experience in energy market systems and regulation, who are eager to lead complex technical and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evaluation of technical modifications to energy industry central systems.
• Oversee the effective implementation of industry changes from a central code body perspective, coordinating with all impacted parties.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to senior clients and industry stakeholders regarding technical aspects of the regulatory framework and the systems that support it.
• Develop practical solutions to industry challenges by interpreting policy, regulatory, market, and technical advancements into actionable delivery.
• Facilitate engagement, training, and support for industry participants and senior stakeholders.
• Formulate and execute strategies to assist clients in enhancing energy consumer and broader system outcomes.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Manage complex workstreams and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring accountability for quality, outcomes, and delivery in uncertain environments.
• Contribute to broader initiatives within the Energy Transition & Utilities sector, including client relationship development, proposal support, and team development.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a strong understanding of GB Energy Market regulation with subject matter expertise in industry systems.
• Demonstrate experience in energy system operations, including knowledge of the physical energy system and the data that flows through it.
• Have experience working with Transmission Operators (TOs), System Operators (SOs), Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), or significant delivery partners.
• Experience in Central Markets, gained through roles in government, regulatory bodies, system operators, energy suppliers, or network operators.
• Exhibit leadership and management consulting skills, including the ability to lead complex technical changes and navigate ambiguity.
• Demonstrate proficiency in modern architecture frameworks and technologies.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients, effectively identifying and resolving issues.
• Lead and shape complex change programs and workstreams, overseeing the delivery of digital technology requirements.
• Drive operational improvements and delivery while managing teams of various sizes and collaborating across organizational boundaries.
