Capgemini Invent is seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager at the Managing Consultant or Senior Manager level to lead large-scale technology transformation projects. This role involves managing project teams, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex initiatives aligned with client goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating project status and technical impacts effectively across all stakeholder levels, translating technical changes into business-friendly documentation, and managing project budgets and schedules to ensure timely, within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee project teams, ensuring delivery aligns with client objectives and managing vendor relationships.
  • Provide clear and effective communication on project progress, technical impacts, and operational considerations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Translate technical developments into accessible language for stakeholders to evaluate operational impacts.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within financial constraints in a consulting environment.
  • Support business development efforts by leading proposal writing, RFP responses, bids, and client presentations, as well as hosting client events.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives such as developing campaigns, participating in think-tanks, authoring whitepapers, and supporting practice development activities including operations, recruitment, and team events.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training, certifications, and skill-building activities to support career growth and meet company demands.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in leading technical projects with a focus on successful delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language, facilitating operational impact assessments.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets and schedules, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Core skills include project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and business translation of technical solutions.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managing vendor relationships effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, including internal practice contributions and personal development activities.
