Capgemini Invent is seeking a highly experienced Managing Consultant or Senior Manager specializing in Technical Project Management, with SC clearance, to join their team. This role involves leading large-scale technology projects, managing project teams, and working with third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery aligned with client goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical changes into business-friendly language, and managing project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead project teams, ensuring project objectives are met through effective management and vendor coordination.
- Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders, including technical impacts and operational considerations.
- Develop business-friendly documentation that translates technical changes for operational evaluation.
- Manage project financials, including budgets and timelines, demonstrating a strong track record in delivering projects within scope and budget constraints.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, RFP responses, client pitches, and developing new service propositions.
- Participate in internal initiatives such as campaign development, think-tank activities, whitepapers, and practice growth efforts.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development through training and certifications to enhance skills and career progression.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Extensive experience in leading and managing technical projects, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for operational impact assessments.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, with experience managing financial aspects of consulting projects.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managing cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
