Capgemini is seeking an experienced Non-Conformance Stress Engineer to join their engineering stress analysis team, focusing on critical aerospace engine components. This role involves assessing and resolving non-conformances in turbine blades, vanes, segment liners, and other engine parts, ensuring they meet safety and certification standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the structural effects of non-conformances on engine components using advanced analytical methods and finite element analysis.
  • Develop and approve repair and concession solutions that comply with industry standards, certification requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Materials Engineering to deliver effective, practical, and cost-efficient solutions backed by solid technical justifications.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and possess proven experience in aerospace stress analysis and structural assessment. They should have strong expertise in gas turbine engine components, manufacturing processes, finite element analysis, fatigue assessment, and non-conformance management. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management abilities are essential for success in this role, especially within a regulated environment.
