The Partner Solution Architect for Regional System Integrators at Google plays a pivotal role in the Google Cloud Platform team, which is dedicated to helping customers transform their businesses through cloud technology. This position focuses on understanding customer needs and shaping how businesses leverage technology to connect with various stakeholders.
As a Partner Solution Architect, you will serve as the pre-sales solution design authority for priority Regional System Integrators and strategic partners across the EMEA region. Your role will be distinct from Global System Integrator engagements, as you will collaborate closely with Google Cloud’s Account Platform Customer Engineers, who manage direct customer relationships and strategies. Your responsibility will be to enhance your partners’ technical capabilities to ensure successful delivery.
In this role, you will transition from regional advisory functions to executing domain-specific tasks in areas such as AI, Data, or Infrastructure, effectively addressing pre-sales gaps while minimizing post-sales delivery issues. You will work alongside Partner Development Managers to create and implement a joint business plan that targets impactful engagements within your sub-region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead VIP bootcamps and hackathons for partners to expedite sales cycles and ensure timely, high-quality delivery, facilitating a successful consumption path.
- Provide specialized pre-sales architectural support exclusively for Regional System Integrators (RSIs) and strategic partners in the South region, acting as a technical peer to Account Customer Engineers to resolve complex deals or customize partner activation.
- Oversee the technical review and validation of high-impact Statements of Work (SoWs) to ensure a clear path to production and secure Partner funding Return on Investment (ROI).
- Serve as the regional pre-sales design authority by creating baseline enterprise replicable assets, such as functional AI demos, and leading in-depth technical sessions and hackathons for the regional Partner Tech Community to enhance enablement.
- Actively contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of the EMEA Partner Tech Community.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Proficiency in public cloud architecture, including compute, networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and microservices.
- Experience in pre-sales acceleration, technical proofs-of-concept (PoCs), and leading technical workshops.
- Deep domain specialization in AI, Data, or Infrastructure, with expert-level knowledge in at least one domain.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes, along with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Capability to deliver results and collaborate cross-functionally with Google Cloud Platform Customer Engineers to position and orchestrate comprehensive solutions.
