The Global Markets Off-cycle Analyst programme provides interns with exposure to various products within Equities Financing, including Physical Prime Brokerage and Stock Loan. This 12-month internship mirrors the responsibilities of full-time employees, allowing participants to gain valuable insights into the Prime Financing sector.

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive introduction to Bank of America, its culture, and its global operations alongside other newly hired analysts.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with hedge fund clients by efficiently servicing their accounts.
• Collaborate with experienced Prime Financing teams to enhance knowledge of products and processes while understanding client needs.
• Engage in risk and collateral management, regulatory initiatives, and finance to maximize revenues and returns.
• Work with traders to understand the risk profile of the book and identify optimal hedging strategies.
• Assist in pricing new business across a variety of Equity Financing Products.
• Support traders in sourcing optimal borrow liquidity, considering cost, collateral, and capital efficiency.
• Provide daily market insights on borrow liquidity and fees across the EMEA market.
• Analyze data to understand client portfolios and drive efficiencies in straight-through processing (STP).
• Collaborate with operations and settlements teams to understand the entire lifecycle of trades.
• Conduct in-depth profitability analyses for specific clients to identify growth opportunities and potential revenue streams.
• Participate in longer-term projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and streamlining processes.

Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with graduation expected between September 2028 and July 2029.
• Applicants should be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a second European language may be necessary for certain roles.
• Demonstrated drive, innovation, and a genuine interest in financial markets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with creativity.
