  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development and technical growth within the team.
  • Own specific features and workstreams, managing their development from conception through to deployment.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and debugging support for firmware issues at the hardware and chip level.

Candidate Requirements

  • Significant experience developing low-level firmware primarily using the C programming language.
  • Strong background working with real-time or embedded systems, understanding their unique operational constraints.
  • Practical experience working directly with hardware components, including device drivers and chip-level software development.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, taking on technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience delivering features and managing workstreams within complex projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
