Celonis is seeking a highly experienced Principal Project Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale, strategic customer projects involving the implementation of their cutting-edge Process Mining and AI-driven solutions. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and resource allocation to execution and closure, ensuring each project aligns with customer expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex customer transformation programs, defining clear project objectives and steering teams towards successful delivery.
• Create comprehensive project plans that detail timelines, resource needs, scope, and budgets, with a focus on rapid delivery and resource efficiency.
• Engage with senior stakeholders within client organizations, including executives and process owners, to understand their goals and facilitate seamless implementation of Celonis solutions.
• Serve as the main point of contact for product feature requests and escalation of support issues, maintaining transparent communication channels.
• Provide regular updates on project status, highlighting key discussion points, risks, and action items to all relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to minimize their impact on project timelines and outcomes.
• Mentor and guide the project team, including partner resources, ensuring adherence to Celonis’ project management methodologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Celonis Services delivery processes and industry standards based on project learnings.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience managing client-facing enterprise software projects, with a track record of handling multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Deep understanding of project management techniques, including planning, risk management, and issue resolution, with experience working closely with clients and executive teams.
• Exceptional communication skills and consulting background, capable of managing diverse stakeholder expectations and project timelines.
• Experience leading and managing consulting teams both domestically and offshore.
• Proficiency in developing proposals, statements of work, and positioning services within a complex ecosystem involving clients and partners.
• Experience working within partner ecosystems and managing co-delivery projects.
• Strong analytical skills, especially in applying technology solutions to solve core business challenges.
• Willingness to obtain certifications in Celonis products and relevant project management credentials such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Safe.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields at the Bachelorâ??s or Masterâ??s level.
