This position involves leading the product strategy for Company Screening within the Bloomberg Terminal, particularly focusing on integrating AI tools to enhance user experience. The role requires a deep understanding of the screening lifecycle, from dataset selection to user interaction with results, and necessitates collaboration with Engineering and Data teams to ensure efficient data handling and workflow performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the product strategy for Company Screening on the Bloomberg Terminal, ensuring integration with AI tools like ASKB.
• Manage the product roadmap by balancing client requirements, commercial goals, technical feasibility, and migration needs.
• Explore adjacent areas such as Funds and Indices to find opportunities for standardizing client screening workflows through the creation and reuse of common components.
• Convert client and business needs into clear product directions, requirements, and prioritization.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to implement scalable screening capabilities that align with infrastructure and migration projects.
• Ensure consistency in the delivery of screening criteria, results, analytics, and workflows across various user interfaces, APIs, data products, and AI-enabled experiences.
• Establish success metrics and evaluate impact based on adoption rates, client engagement, data utilization, workflow completion, and commercial results.
• Work alongside Sales, Support, and client-facing teams to identify user challenges, validate product decisions, and facilitate client migration and adoption.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management or a related field, particularly in Company Analysis.
• Experience with company screening tools, either through direct usage or by managing their development.
• Strong understanding of company data, including financial, firmographic, and related datasets.
• Familiarity with private company data and its associated challenges regarding coverage, comparability, quality, and discoverability.
• Knowledge of Funds, Indices, or other related financial datasets.
• Experience with data systems, APIs, data modeling, analytics platforms, or large-scale query workflows.
• Ability to navigate both technical and business domains, effectively collaborating with Engineering, Data, Sales, and Product teams.
• Demonstrated capability to define product strategy, prioritize tasks, and execute in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Technical proficiency, sound judgment, and a practical problem-solving approach.
