Join a rapidly expanding team within the semiconductor industry as a Product Manager, focusing on cutting-edge controller integrated circuits (ICs) used in a variety of innovative consumer devices such as wearables, smart glasses, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and other vision-enabled gadgets. This role involves shaping the future of semiconductor products by defining product roadmaps, aligning cross-disciplinary engineering teams, and developing customer-facing product materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and steer the strategic roadmap for new controller ICs and their system-level features, ensuring they meet market and customer needs.
- Manage requirements gathering, feature prioritization, and the development of compelling value propositions for new products.
- Work in close collaboration with silicon, firmware, software, and system engineering teams to ensure cohesive product development and integration.
- Create detailed and clear product documentation, including technical briefs, presentation decks, datasheets, and application notes, to support customer understanding and adoption.
- Perform market and competitor analysis within the wearables, AR/VR, and smart device sectors to inform strategic decisions.
- Translate customer feedback and needs into actionable product development strategies, ensuring the final products align with market expectations.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in managing semiconductor products, especially ICs, controllers, or system-level silicon components.
- Deep understanding of the silicon development lifecycle from initial concept to mass production.
- Experience working within high-volume consumer electronics markets, understanding their unique demands.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simplified manner suitable for customers and partners.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to process development in dynamic environments.
- Educational background with a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: Experience with wearable tech, smart glasses, AR/VR, or vision-enabled consumer products.
