Graphcore is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge hardware products. This role involves managing projects from the initial planning stages through to the final production release, ensuring that complex hardware designs are successfully transitioned into market-ready products. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating efforts across multiple teams, including hardware, software, systems, and operations, to keep projects on track and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct hardware manufacturing projects, ensuring smooth progression from concept to production.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and manufacturing partners to maintain project alignment and momentum.
  • Facilitate effective communication among diverse teams to promote clarity and shared understanding of project objectives.
  • Prioritize tasks, monitor progress, and identify potential risks early to prevent delays or blockers.
  • Manage dependencies and conflicting priorities within fast-paced environments.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies such as waterfall, Scrum, or Agile, based on project needs.
  • Utilize project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Work with international teams across locations including Bristol, Cambridge, India, Taiwan, and the US to ensure global coordination and success.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a university degree or equivalent industry experience relevant to hardware or project management.
  • Have over five years of experience managing technical projects, with at least three years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle dependencies and competing priorities effectively.
  • Be self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to fast-moving work environments.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills suitable for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Have practical experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
  • Experience working with international partners and global teams is highly desirable.
