Requirements

What we're looking for

• More than 5 years of experience in software QA.
• At least 2 years of experience in coordination or leadership of QA teams.
• Demonstrable experience defining strategies and planning tests.
• Solid knowledge of functional, integration, regression, API, performance testing, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in QA for AI or machine learning solutions, including validation of models and pipelines, datasets, metrics, false positives and negatives, reproducibility, and regressions.
• Experience in automation with Python, pytest, Postman/Newman, and interface testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Git, code review, CI/CD, defect management, and quality gates.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps, Confluence or equivalent tools, Git repositories, and quality reporting.
• Ability to maintain rigorous, up-to-date, versioned, and traceable technical documentation.
• Organization, leadership, quality judgment, clear communication, prioritization ability, and documentary discipline.
• Native Spanish and professional English B2-C1, especially for reading and technical documentation.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar. Specific training in QA, software, and AI will be valued.

We are looking to hire a QA Lead – Software and AI. You will be responsible for defining and coordinating the quality strategy for software products and AI solutions, guaranteeing testing, traceability, best practices, acceptance criteria, and living, up-to-date technical documentation throughout the entire development and production deployment cycle.

What you'll do

• Define the quality plan, testing strategy, acceptance criteria, and project quality gates.
• Coordinate QA execution, prioritize testing, and ensure functional, integration, regression, API, and performance coverage.
• Establish the validation process for AI components using test datasets, metrics, false positive and negative analysis, reproducibility, and model and pipeline regressions.
• Organize and maintain development documentation: requirements, test plans, traceability matrices, evidence, incidents, metrics, procedures, versions, release notes, and releases.
• Coordinate with Development, DevOps/MLOps, Product, and business, supervising defects, risks, and the readiness level of each delivery.
• Drive test automation and its integration into CI/CD processes.
• Implement standards, templates, Definition of Ready and Definition of Done criteria, KPIs, internal audits, and continuous improvement processes.
• Perform root cause analysis, document lessons learned, and coordinate improvement actions.
• Mentor and coordinate the QA team.
