Role Overview

In this role, you will analyze client trading behaviors and collaborate with various teams to implement improvements and respond to market changes. Your responsibilities will include conducting post-trade analysis using Python and developing efficient production code in C#. You will need to manage both strategic projects and urgent tasks effectively, prioritizing to deliver commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refine client trading behavior to identify new opportunities and enhance performance using large-scale data and computing resources.
• Collaborate with various teams, including Research, Engineering, and Front Office, to implement improvements and adapt to external market changes.
• Conduct post-trade analysis utilizing Python and large datasets, while also developing efficient production code in C# for the trading platform.
• Balance medium-term strategic projects with urgent short-term tasks, requiring strong prioritization and decision-making skills to deliver commercial value.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in solving quantitative problems quickly, evidenced through practical projects, internships, or relevant employment.
• Understanding of market microstructure and algorithmic order placement behavior.
• Proficient coding skills, preferably in Python and C#, although familiarity with other programming languages is acceptable.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.
• A keen interest in finance and a strong motivation to learn and deliver results rapidly.
