Quantitative Analyst Overview

As a Quantitative Analyst at G-Research, you will be part of a dynamic team that tackles complex challenges in quantitative finance. Your role will involve leveraging large-scale data and advanced computing to analyze client trading behaviors, uncovering insights that drive performance improvements. You will collaborate with various teams, including Research, Engineering, and the Front Office, to implement enhancements and adapt strategies in response to market changes.

In this position, you will conduct post-trade analyses using Python and large datasets, while also implementing efficient C# code within the trading platform. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the real-world impact of your changes and managing a balance of medium-term strategic projects alongside urgent tasks. Strong prioritization and decision-making skills are essential to deliver commercial value effectively.

Who Are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A proven track record of solving quantitative problems swiftly, demonstrated through practical projects, internships, or full-time employment.
• An understanding of market microstructure and algorithmic order placement behavior.
• Strong coding abilities, particularly in Python and C#, though other programming languages are also welcome.
• The capability to question existing processes and drive improvements.
• A keen interest in finance and a strong motivation to learn and deliver results quickly.
