Capgemini is seeking an experienced professional to lead the responsible adoption of AI within organizations, focusing on governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This role involves working closely with senior leadership, including CIOs, CTOs, and Chief AI Officers, to develop and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks that ensure safe, ethical, and compliant AI deployment at scale.

The Managing Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex discussions on AI strategy, governance, and emerging regulations such as the EU AI Act, FCA and PRA expectations, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001. They will translate these regulatory standards into practical policies, controls, and operational models that support AI lifecycle managementâ??from ideation to retirement.

Key responsibilities include designing enterprise AI governance structures, establishing AI Governance Offices, and developing governance processes and artifacts such as policies, standards, and control frameworks. The role also involves conducting AI risk assessments, developing risk management frameworks, and supporting regulatory remediation efforts.

In addition, the candidate will advise on the selection and deployment of technology platforms for AI governance, including workflow automation and monitoring solutions using tools like ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, and Appian. They will help clients build auditable AI inventories and ensure compliance with evolving regulations through engagement with regulators and internal audits.

Business development is a core aspect of the role, with responsibilities for preparing proposals, shaping innovative offerings, and contributing to thought leadership through publications and conference participation. Mentoring junior team members and supporting practice growth are also key components.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in consulting, banking, or technology risk, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale AI governance transformations. They should possess deep knowledge of AI technologies, risk, controls, and regulatory environments, along with excellent stakeholder management skills.
