This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive sales experience in marketing technology, particularly in SaaS products related to marketing automation, CRM, email, or analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and inspire a regional team of Account Executives and outbound prospectors, setting clear goals and coaching them to success in selling SaaS solutions.
  • Design and execute sales strategies targeting SMB and Scale clients, ensuring achievement of revenue targets through effective team leadership and prospecting efforts.
  • Lead outbound prospecting initiatives to generate new business opportunities, working closely with the team to convert leads into loyal customers.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, customer success, and sales operations teams to streamline processes, improve customer engagement, and maximize sales outcomes.
  • Quickly identify key decision-makers within large organizations and understand their decision-making processes to facilitate SaaS investments.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions that leverage Brazeâ??s marketing automation, CRM, email, and analytics tools.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in digital and mobile marketing technology to maintain a competitive advantage and provide relevant insights to clients.
  • Represent Braze at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and generate leads.
  • Utilize social media and other digital channels to enhance professional connections and personal brand presence.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 8 years of proven sales experience within the mobile or marketing technology sectors, with a focus on SaaS solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing a regional sales team, including Account Executives and outbound prospectors, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience leading and coaching outbound prospecting teams and SMB/Scale sales teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing, customer success, and sales operations teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations and build rapport with clients.
  • Active social media presence and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of current digital trends, especially in mobile and marketing technology sectors.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and identify decision-makers for large SaaS investments.
  • Experience working in startup or fast-paced tech environments is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and accountable with a bias for action and adaptability to change.
