We are currently expanding our offerings to include AI coding agents that provide deeper insights into codebases. Our existing code retrieval service has already shown significant improvements in agent speed and task performance, and we are eager to enhance this further by extracting richer insights from hundreds of thousands of repositories.

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and implement agentic tools from the ground up, enhancing the coding experience for users. In this role, you will:

• Translate product needs into agentic tools and services and ensure their deployment in production.
• Scale prototypes to serve a large number of users effectively.
• Improve and rigorously test our semantic search service.
• Build evaluation pipelines to assess code retrieval and coding task performance.

To be a successful candidate, you should possess:

• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience with information retrieval systems.
• Strong background in prompt and tool engineering for Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
• Solid programming skills in Python and/or Kotlin, with a willingness to learn any unfamiliar languages.
• Experience in developing and operating production-grade software systems.

Additionally, we would be particularly excited if you have:

• Experience in Kotlin or Java development.
• Prior work with code intelligence, such as Abstract Syntax Trees (AST) or symbol graphs.
