Capgemini Invent is seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to lead cloud operating model transformation initiatives. This role involves working at the intersection of technology, organizational change, and strategic advisory to help clients design, assess, and evolve their cloud operations to be automation-first and AI-ready. As part of the Cloud Advisory team, you will provide expert guidance on how cloud transformation impacts business operations and organizational structures, ensuring these are aligned with clients’ strategic goals and cloud maturity levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer strategic advice on cloud transformation, focusing on creating digitally enabled, data-driven, and AI-compatible business models supported by cloud technology.
- Perform assessments and audits of current cloud operating models to identify areas for standardization, automation, and AI integration, translating findings into future-state designs.
- Design target cloud operating frameworks, including service management processes and organizational structures, ensuring they are practical, measurable, and aligned with automation and AI principles.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cloud transformation efforts using operational metrics, recommending improvements and supporting the adoption of intelligent monitoring and AIOps practices.
- Utilize expertise in strategy, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, and organizational design to deliver measurable business outcomes, supporting automation and AI-enabled workflows.
- Collaborate across organizational levels to innovate and implement cloud transformation projects, contributing to practice growth.
- Advise clients on the application of large language models, copilot tools, and agentic AI, including use cases such as service automation and AI-assisted decision-making.
- Support clients in understanding AI governance issues, including data quality and transparency, to promote responsible AI use.
- Engage in business development activities such as preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, developing propositions, and hosting client events.
- Contribute to internal practice development through whitepapers, thought leadership, and team initiatives, while pursuing ongoing learning and certifications.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in transforming business operations through technology, with a focus on re-engineering processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of ITIL V4/V5 frameworks, including incident, change, problem management, and service desk operations, with an interest in automation and AI integration.
- Certification in ITIL V4 or V5 at the Foundation level or higher, demonstrating formal understanding of ITSM processes.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and platforms, and understanding of their integration into cloud and ITSM workflows.
- Strong interest in agentic AI patterns and autonomous agents impacting IT operations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, IaC, and modern delivery pipelines.
- Experience managing solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including core services and security considerations.
- Understanding of cloud security standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience in consulting or industry roles, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization and support proposition development.
- Continuous learner with active engagement in AI communities or certifications.
- Strong business development skills, leveraging relationships and networks to generate new opportunities.
