Capgemini Invent is seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to lead cloud operating model transformation initiatives. This role involves working closely with clients across various industries to design, assess, and evolve cloud operating frameworks that are automation-first and AI-ready. The successful candidate will support clients in developing digitally enabled business models supported by cloud and data-driven, AI-enabled operational structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic advice on cloud transformation impacts on operations and organizational structures, emphasizing automation and AI integration.
  • Conducting detailed assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for standardization, automation, and AI readiness, translating these insights into future-state designs.
  • Designing target cloud operating models, service management frameworks, and organizational structures aligned with clients’ strategic goals and cloud maturity levels.
  • Developing practical, measurable processes for future cloud service delivery, governance, and operational workflows, ensuring they support automation and AI initiatives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of cloud transformation efforts using operational metrics, recommending improvements, and supporting the deployment of intelligent monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Applying expertise in strategy, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, and organizational design to deliver meaningful business outcomes through cloud initiatives.
  • Advising clients on the practical application of large language models, copilot tools, and agentic AI within cloud operating models, including use cases like service automation and AI-supported decision-making.
  • Supporting clients in understanding and implementing AI governance practices, focusing on data quality, transparency, and responsible AI use.
  • Contributing to business development activities such as proposal writing, RFP responses, client pitches, and proposition development.
  • Engaging in internal initiatives like developing thought leadership, whitepapers, and practice growth activities, as well as participating in internal think-tanks.
  • Continuously enhancing skills through certifications, training, and active participation in AI and cloud communities.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, leveraging networks to support business growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in leading technology-driven business transformations and operational redefinition.
  • Hands-on experience with ITIL V4/V5 frameworks, including incident, change, problem management, and service desk operations, with an interest in automation and AI.
  • Certification in ITIL V4 or V5 at the Foundation level or higher.
  • Practical knowledge of Generative AI tools and platforms, and their integration into cloud and ITSM workflows.
  • Strong interest in agentic AI and autonomous agents impacting IT operations.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency in managing solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including security and compliance considerations.
  • Background working within large consulting firms or industry roles, with the ability to operate effectively in complex organizational structures.
  • Proven success in proposition development and client engagement.
  • Active curiosity and ongoing learning in AI, demonstrated through certifications, projects, or community involvement.
  • Strong business development skills, capable of leveraging networks for new opportunities.
