Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in complex projects, working closely with Technical Leads, Architects, and client teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality of data solutions across various sectors and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data architecture and modeling initiatives for projects, ensuring standards are met and guiding teams effectively.
- Manage the technical strategy for data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, focusing on reliability and performance.
- Design comprehensive solutions for clients transitioning from legacy systems to modern cloud-native platforms.
- Provide senior technical guidance in client engagements, particularly in replacing outdated HR systems.
- Oversee the development of AI services, shaping technical approaches and team execution.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering, with a strong record in senior roles.
- Proficient in technologies such as Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Deep understanding of data engineering practices, including data governance and security.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with senior stakeholders.
