Bloomberg operates on a foundation of data, utilizing powerful information to enhance its products. The Data department is tasked with delivering data, news, and analytics through innovative technology, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. The Content Acquisition (CA) team plays a crucial role in managing, acquiring, and integrating content from various providers to enhance the Bloomberg Terminal and other enterprise products.
As a Senior Data Management Professional within the Exchanges & Venues team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing data-driven strategies aimed at acquiring new content sets and maximizing the value of existing datasets. Your expertise in Futures & Options markets will guide you in designing initiatives that expand product offerings and address emerging client needs. You will work closely with internal partners and senior leaders to drive customer-focused outcomes, manage content investments, and mobilize cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and prioritizing data-driven strategies to discover and acquire new datasets while tracking progress.
- Building relationships with internal partners to align with their priorities and ensure datasets are accessible and usable.
- Leading Data Quality projects based on business priorities and market conditions.
- Mobilizing the wider team of Relationship Managers and Technical Account Managers through campaigns.
- Identifying and addressing gaps in existing product offerings to accommodate new client use cases.
- Acting as an ambassador for Futures & Options content and representing the Content Acquisition team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BachelorĂ¢??s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM, or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial markets with a deep understanding of Futures & Options markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across various functions and seniority levels.
- Proven ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes and actionable goals.
- Experience in driving execution and alignment across regions with effective communication.
- A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to decision-making in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
