Join a dynamic team as a Senior Data Scientist in a unique role that combines analytical expertise with product development in a fast-paced environment. This position is part of a 12-month fixed-term contract based in our London office, where you will work closely with the founder and a small team to innovate within Goodnotes’ AI-native product line.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the analytical partner for a new product initiative, quantifying the impact of features on business performance.
• Establish and enhance experimentation practices to facilitate evidence-driven decision-making across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering to create tracking plans and event taxonomy, ensuring features are measurable from the outset.
• Conduct thorough analyses on user behavior, including funnels and retention, translating findings into actionable insights.
• Empower product managers and leaders to independently interpret experiment results and reporting.
• Proactively identify essential questions for the product organization and assess the reliability of findings for decision-making.
• Develop frameworks that enable teams to adapt and extend analytics capabilities, minimizing reliance on the analytics team.

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics within a product-led growth SaaS, marketplace, or transactional environment.
• Proficient in designing and analyzing experiments, with a deep understanding of common experimentation pitfalls.
• Strong grasp of instrumentation and data governance, including experience with tracking plans.
• Experience in AI-driven product organizations, focusing on scalable insights workflows.
• Strong SQL skills, along with proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis.
• A proven track record of creating frameworks that enhance team capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
• Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous situations.
