As a Senior Editor in the Creative Lab at Google, you will leverage your expertise in visual, design, written, and experiential elements to enhance Google products and services across various media and channels. Your role will require adaptability in a dynamic environment, where you will collaborate with a cross-functional team and guide vendor partners in developing effective creative solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and executing creative content plans that align with business objectives and target audiences.
- Building and nurturing relationships with internal and external resources to attract and develop creative talent.
- Ensuring alignment between creative and technical visions, initiating changes as necessary for optimal story development.
To qualify for this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in a creative discipline such as writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, or photography.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your creative work in areas like Brand, Interactive, Conceptual, Experiential, or Technology design.
Preferred qualifications include:
- At least 11 years of experience in a creative field.
- Experience with standard production equipment including cameras, microphones, and basic lighting.
- Familiarity with film and commercial production processes, from script development to post-production.
- Knowledge of Generative AI workflows and Google Workspace for collaboration.
- The ability to prototype stories using editing and animation techniques resourcefully.
This position is based in London and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. You will be expected to communicate effectively in English, as it is a requirement for all roles at Google.
