The Opportunity
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will work on systems critical to performance, processing and aggregating millions of records in real time to enable clients to make faster, smarter decisions. Your primary focus will be on backend development using C#, with some frontend work in React. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the core engine of the platform, optimize complex systems, and influence product architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize Pigment’s core formula and query engine, which is vital for platform performance.
- Develop and maintain high-performance, real-time systems that handle large-scale data processing.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to develop impactful features and functionalities.
- Build and sustain backend services utilizing technologies such as .NET Core, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Participate in architectural decisions, testing new ideas, and improving system reliability and efficiency.
- Engage throughout the entire application lifecycle, from initial design and coding to deployment and ongoing support.
- Apply pragmatic, user-focused technology choices, balancing strengths and limitations of various tools.
- Foster a team environment rooted in curiosity, humility, ownership, and trust.
Candidate Profile
- Experience designing object-oriented software with languages like C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into elegant solutions.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to suggest innovative, value-adding ideas.
- Excellent team spirit, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn and grow at any seniority level.
- Fluent in English; French language skills are not necessary.
