Senior iOS Engineer Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior iOS Engineer to join a rapidly growing tech company that operates in the tech-for-good and medical sectors. This role involves significant responsibility in the development of their iOS systems, contributing to a product that integrates IoT, GPS, and Computer Vision technologies to assist millions globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the development of iOS systems for a tech-for-good and medical-focused product.
• Architect and maintain a high-performance native iOS application utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.
• Develop seamless hardware integrations using Bluetooth technology.
• Optimize sensor-fusion algorithms and solvers for real-time execution on mobile hardware.
• Manage memory allocation, threading, and ARM CPU constraints to ensure low-latency performance.
• Integrate low-level C++ or Rust codebases with the iOS frontend.

Requirements

• Proficient in native iOS engineering with experience in Swift.
• Strong knowledge of Core Bluetooth, BLE, and background data processing.
• Experience in power profiling and power management.
• Solid understanding of C++ and/or Rust programming languages.
• Familiarity with iOS SDKs, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Demonstrated experience working with high-frequency time-series data.
• Experience managing fleets of edge devices in IoT or Robotics environments.
• Proven ability to design and maintain resilient, low-latency systems.
