Senior Platform Engineer Overview

Attio is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join their team and help build and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure platform infrastructure. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the stability, performance, and security of Attioâ??s core services and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable platform infrastructure to support Attioâ??s core products and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and DevOps to ensure platform stability, performance, and security.
• Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform components for efficiency and resilience.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of platform upgrades, migrations, and new feature integrations.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve platform architecture and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale cloud-based infrastructure, preferably with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or similar for automation and tooling.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure platform health and performance.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead platform engineering role is highly desirable.
