Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with team leads and cross-disciplinary colleagues to define objectives, translate ideas into actionable plans, and ensure projects are completed successfully.
• Foster collaboration across Google and external partners by working with research scientists, policy teams, and senior stakeholders to establish structures that support high-stakes research and governance initiatives.
• Manage the operational rhythm for executive-facing activities, including preparing for leadership meetings, managing urgent requests, and ensuring decisions are followed through effectively.
• Navigate environments with high ambiguity by identifying dependencies, mitigating risks, and implementing operational solutions to complex challenges.
• Review and improve existing processes, information flows, and decision-making structures, leveraging data and AI tools to identify opportunities for operational enhancements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in program management, with a proven track record of delivering time-sensitive initiatives.
• Experience with the AGI landscape, including AI safety, technical foresight, or tech policy.
• Ability to design and implement operational frameworks and cross-functional processes from scratch.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and translating organizational goals into actionable plans.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, with the ability to adapt strategies within technical, policy, or government settings.
