Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage revenue recognition procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting and documentation.
• Prepare detailed revenue schedules, journal entries, and supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain adherence to accounting standards such as IFRS 15 or ASC 606.
• Assist in implementing and refining revenue accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue figures.
• Keep abreast of updates and changes in revenue recognition standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelorâ??s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualifications like ACA, ACCA, or CPA are advantageous.
• Experience in revenue accounting or a similar role within a technology or SaaS environment is preferred.
• Deep understanding of revenue recognition standards such as IFRS 15 or ASC 606.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various teams and external auditors.
• Experience with process improvements and system upgrades is a plus.
