Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions as part of Cisco’s product and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during development and production phases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into projects.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across the engineering department.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in software engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing complex applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and version control systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, and microservices architecture is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug intricate technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
