As part of our dynamic product and engineering team based in Galway, Ireland, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile software solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless and impactful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications focused on mobile app development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, and bugs, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to mobile and application development.
- Assist in defining technical standards and best practices for the development team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and product quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in software development, particularly in building mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, or similar.
- Experience with mobile development frameworks and tools, including Xcode, Android Studio, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, architecture, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- BachelorĂ¢??s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
