Requirements

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in railway electronic interlocking software development.
• Experience in programming using Structured Text (ST) on PLC applied to electronic interlockings.
• University degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or STEM degrees.
• English level B2.

The role

We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Railway Electronic Interlockings to participate in a railway signaling technological project, focused on the development of critical systems for circulation safety.

The selected person will be part of the Software Specification and Development team, participating in the definition of requirements and in the development of electronic interlocking software using the Structured Text on PLC language.

The work will be carried out under the CENELEC regulatory framework, applicable to railway products with the maximum safety integrity level SIL4, in an engineering environment where precision, reliability, and compliance with safety requirements are fundamental.

How you'll work

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of specific experience in electronic interlocking software development and offers a 100% remote work modality, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Modality: 100% teleworking (remote).

Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:15 h and Friday from 8:00 to 14:00 h.

Shifts: No.

On-call: No.

Travel: No.

Valuable requirements

• Functional knowledge of Adif railway interlockings.

Project technical environment

• Software requirements specification for electronic interlockings.
• Generic product software development using Structured Text on PLC.
• Development under the CENELEC regulatory framework, applicable to SIL4 railway safety products.
