Overview

The Systems Architecture and Technology Group at Arm focuses on defining and driving the strategic direction of our products over the next three to five years. Your work will involve exploring industry trends such as generative AI and developing new computing devices that incorporate artificial intelligence, security, energy efficiency, and software ecosystems. Your contributions will significantly impact the evolution of Armâ??s technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with various internal technology teams, external partners, and industry consortia to innovate, develop, and deploy new technological solutions within the Arm ecosystem.
  • Engage in both hardware and software development, demonstrating a passion for advancing expertise in both fields and helping shape future architectures.
  • Contribute to defining the strategic direction of Armâ??s products, focusing on emerging trends like generative AI and machine learning.
  • Assist in designing and developing Armâ??s intellectual property (IP) to support a wide range of applications including mobile, VR/AR, servers, and autonomous systems.
  • Analyze industry trends and incorporate them into future hardware and software solutions, emphasizing performance, security, and energy efficiency.
  • Participate in performance analysis and optimization to ensure hardware and software solutions are scalable and efficient.
  • Support the development of innovative architectures that meet evolving industry needs and technological advancements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant professional experience.
  • Deep understanding of computer architecture concepts, including CPUs, GPUs, and hardware acceleration technologies.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • A passionate, driven attitude with a diligent approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Arm architecture fundamentals is advantageous.
  • Experience with vector processing, parallel programming, and performance analysis is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, AI, robotics, and simulation frameworks is beneficial.
